Just got back from Charleston, SC and the Southeastern Wildlife Expo. It was a great experience more than anything. Having a booth next to some of the country's best wildlife artist is a motivating experience. I met a lot of great people who showed some interest in my art and also bought some pieces. The crowds were great, but due to the economy, buying was a little slow according to the other artist. I was able to get out with a couple friends on monday morning and watched them catch a few fish providing a some good photos of reds for some new etchings.

This is a painting depicting my friend, Will Wingate's plantation in south Georgia. Will is guiding his brother, Richard who is ready for anything.

Frank's Rooster

This is a painting I did for Frank Smethurst. He is currently filming for the TU tv series in the troutly painted Airstream trailer. They came by the shop before they begun fishing some of the southeast trout waters.

Charlotte 08 Fly Fishing Show

Just got back from the Charlotte FF SHow. It went well and met a lot of nice people. I appreciated all the comments about my paintings. I t was nice meeting everyone! Here is a little idea of where I camped out allweekend long.
